What are some early signs of burnout?

In 2018 I started getting a solid eight hours of sleep for the first time in my nearly 30 years alive. My life improved far more dramatically than I ever would have suspected. Granted I did and still do need a medication in order to sleep or it's nearly or impossible and the sleep I do get without the meds is of a lesser quality.

No surprise to anyone that getting more sleep leads to a greater quality of life, but what surprised me was HOW much better life got.

More energy at school (I'm an older university student) which led to greater confidence in completing assignments and socializing.

I began to prioritize sleep over nearly everything, treating my sleep like a baby to protect from all the other things in life that vy for my attention.

I had always struggled with exhaustion from the insomnia & depression, but now I had enough energy to make sure that I did dishes every single night and I would not let myself to take the pill before I cleaned my kitchen. It was always mildly depressing how dishes would pile up and then I would eventually clean them all and let them pile up again but when I started making sure I had a clean kitchen to wake up to every single morning my mental state improved dramatically for some reason. for some people it's keeping their room clean or their car clean, and while those can be important my most important thing is my kitchen for some reason. A clean kitchen also meant that the stove was always free and there weren't any dirty pots and pans covering the entire surface. And because these pots and pans were clean I had greater freedom and choosing how to cook because I didn't have to wash a bunch of dishes prior to starting to cook something. It led to "slightly" better diet choices which is an area of my life I have not really managed to improve yet, but I'm on the way
