I guess it’s not directed at you. It’s just The IRA claimed they bombed England because the English felt no sympathy for anyone else. 12,000 bombs were detonated by the PIRA but I’ve never met an English person who could name a single victim or attack in Ireland.

The British government were balls-deep in murder, terrorism and crime in Ireland and the English generally don’t seem to mind. That’s why it gets tiresome to see comments about the IRA and their pub bombings or about Warrington (all horrific and sickening crimes) in England but nothing about the British-backed groups that carried out equivalent attacks in Ireland.

You’re right though, we’re agreeing about how awful all of it was.
