What are some fresh new tactics with the USF that can be used with this new patch?

Been playing 4v4's for shits and giggles, now ranked #7th as USF on 4v4. 4v4's are for scrubs but they're fun, and this patch has been a godsend. Here's a cheeky 4v4 strat:

Go armour company, instantly build assault engineers and RE squad. Chuck your first RE and assaults up to a contested point, whilst back-capping with your 2nd RE squad, then go rifle, LT. Hold them off with your weird mis-matched force until you can get an AA Halftrack (versus OKW) or push for major and go sherman versus OST.

This gains early map control, gets just ahead of them tech wise and holds it mid-game with vehicles.

However games are won by building up a good core force of infantry, and in this strat you can't spend any fuel on weapon unlocks or your vehicles are slowed too much. Your enemy will probably be building up a good force of vetted grens (pre patch it was volks and obers) supplemented with panzer 4s, meaning late game you're boned.

Swap your vehicle crews out of your vehicles for the two RE squads you built at the start of the game - you can do this with your AA HT very early, and pretty soon with your sherman. Upgrade the crews with Thompsons and suddenly your force is looking much healthier - vehicle crews get triple vet very quickly and are basically shocks with thompsons. So now you've got a high vet anti-inf blob of 2 vehicle crews, LT and rifles.

Then the panzer 4's - start spamming M10's. They're beasts since the patch and are incredibly cheap - throwing one away to kill a P4 is a trade in your favour. Build up an unstoppable force of M10's and shock them off the field like you're playing vCoH.

Bonus of throughout the game knowing you're a coh hipster using vehicle crews with thompson upgrades in a useful way.
