What are some jobs that pay 60k+ a year without a degree?

Software engineering.

You you can teach yourself over the internet (YouTube for concepts, stackoverflow and leetcode for actual coding) because in software the end result is all anyone cares about. Entry is around 90-120k; 5 yrs in around ~200k (much higher for FANG but read next sentence)

Not having a degree (and to an admittedly lesser extent, a relevant degree) only becomes an issue for top-tier companies like FANG (Facebook, Amazon, Netflix and Google) but even then isn’t a deal breaker, you’ll just have to have a really strong resume and CRUSH your interview. Now, not having a degree might hold you back from management but a lot of companies will send you to school if they think you’re worth it
