What are some "Poor Man's Habits" that are worth adopting?

You still have to replace the liners weekly and the pellets monthly:

We currently have two large pans and buy 3x14lb jugs of clay scooping litter at Aldi for $4 each bi weekly. The Breeze is 3x as expensive assuming you're buying everything in bulk and the cheapest open pan.
