I like to practice KTP and enjoy connections where everything is accessible and open. I enjoy knowing my partner's partners and being friends with them. So, my flags are dependent on this preferred type of poly dynamic.

My green flags for new poly partners:

1. They talk about exactly what they desire
2. They have experience practicing poly and aren't testing out the waters
3. They talk openly about their partners as other people with hobbies, likes, and dislikes
4. They don't lead the conversation with sex, I want to get to know YOU as a person before sex comes into play

Red flags I look out for:

1. They do not know what they want and make statements such as "I am just open to whatever comes my way"
2. They're new to poly and want you to teach them your ways
3. They keep details about their other relationships under lock and key
4. Meet-ups are always centered around sex, and they don't want to go out in public
