Have you ever gone on vacation and spent a week hanging out in the sunny the pool? Your acne completely goes away. Chlorine and sunlight both kill the bacteria that cause acne. Using a tiny, dilute amount of chlorine for 1 min does not bleach the skin. Getting 10 minutes of sunlight three times a week will not tan your skin.

You can go to a dermatologist office and they will charge you a fortune for blue light acne treatment. Or, you know, you can just use natural sunlight. You can also get expensive prescriptions for antibiotic creams to kill the acne. Or you can kill the acne with a very dilute chlorine wash.

If a person can't go for a week in the sun by the pool, or ocean because really salty water also kills acne, you can very inexpensively and simply replicate the effects.
