I had that happen a few times in middle school. More than a few. There was a group of dudes who made asking me out as a game.

I also got compared to my younger sibling a lot as less attractive.

Finally, I had a group of friends in high school who would constantly ask me to rank them as to who wad the most and the least attractive but I was never compared or put into the rankings. Years later when I asked why they did that they were like “oh we didn’t think you cared about appearances...”

I know it’s petty but one time someone asked to see pictures of my siblings and she was like “wow you’re the prettiest one!” Which is kind of a weird thing to say but also the first time in my life I’ve ever heard that so it was nice.

Also when I started dating my current boyfriend a couple of years ago, he was hanging out with me and some of those ladies from high school. He kept staring at me and on the way home he was like “you are the prettiest one of your friends from high school.” I hadn’t told him then about their comments on my appearance. It was lame and a decade later but it was just nice to hear for once.
