What are some things you do to pick yourself back up when life has punched and kicked you in the face?

Workout and make a list of the things that are kicking my ass and what I can do about them.

In the past month, I dealt with a breakup, finding out my dad has stage 3 melanoma, had shingles, had two work trips, and today I got a flat tire. I feel defeated. Luckily, I worked out for 90 minutes today, so that helped. I am almost at the breaking point where everything is just numb and I’m beyond crying it out.

My ex kissed me last week and said he’s confused, which broke my heart even more. I saw him today, though, in hopes we can make a friendship work. I think we can. I just need to be disciplined about physical boundaries.

Dad had his thumb cut off and is starting immunotherapy. Now it’s a waiting game.

Shingles are clearing up, but it still hurts. Just gotta wait it out and practice meditating when the pain strikes.

One work trip done. Leaving for the other one on Tuesday. Checklists for equipment, gear, and clothing are complete.

Flat tire...TBD if it’s a slow leak or not. Inflated it and now I wait.
