I don’t bring up BTS unless someone would ask me a direct question about them, butI have played mono in playlists for dinner parties or told about my experiences of the concert etc.

I think my friends are aware I’m a fan but don’t see it as anything different from how I’m a fan of other things. (i’m “the harry potter girl” among some crowds)

At work (engineering-related) I’d probably never mention bts unless specifically asked because I work with only 30-50 year old men who all love their “real music” led zeppelin & pink floyd and that’s just not really worth the effort. I’m already one of the very few women and practically the youngest there.

If I discover anyone else is a fan though I’ll go from 0 to 100% fangirl and happily discuss biases, performances and anything else
