What are some of your favorite obvious signs that you were LGBTQ+ from your childhood?

I was really effeminate as a young child - threw fits when someone tried to cut my hair. Pranced around with purses, etc. Didn't really orient myself culturally as wanting a g/f and always said I didn't want to get married - just wanted to live with my 'best friend'.

At various times in gradeschool I got in trouble for spending too much 'alone-time' and sitting too closely on the playground with other boys.

My parents tried to correct that by forcing me into boyish things where I was mocked and got my ass kicked constantly. That taught me to be afraid of men - so got me to 'straighten up' for a long while, at least into being basically asexual. Yay childhood trauma!
