What are some of your fondest memories in gaming?

I'm 25 now. When I was arround 13 years old my stepdad got a new computer, his older son wanted to get me into pc gaming and told my mom to buy Half Life 2 for me, it came bundled with Counter Strike: Source. When I first launched CSS I thought it was a video, I saw gameplay but I couldn't play myself. I didn't know I had to wait for a round to end before I could play myself. So I went back to half life, only a few days later I tried CSS again and joined just when a new round was starting, I was able to play. I felt like an idiot, but I fell in love with the game, played it for 1000's of hours. A few years later one of my CSS teammates told me about this game "Trackmania", I wasn't really in to racing games but I gave it a try, I remember my first reaction was "wtf these roads are so wide". I was better at Trackmania then I was at CSS so I started playing more Trackmania than CSS, I got quite good and won a bunch of prizes at LAN parties, headsets, monitors, hard drives, gamepads, an awesome pc case etc. I felt great being good at something, I sometimes wish I could go back to those days, but I can't seem to put that much time in to gaming anymore as I did back then
