What are Trump supporters like in real life?

It varies, like all thing. They're not all the wide eyed zealous cultists that you might be imagining. Most of them even tell me they don't support him. It's all framed as anti liberal. "I don't like the guy but the way the media attacks him, I just have to defend him", that sort of thing. Some of them only follow politics by watching Carlson, hannity, or Shapiro, others don't follow the news at all, still others think of themselves as educated but that just means reading the daily caller and reading Facebook (how they convinced themselves that that makes them educated ...)

They're normal people, but a wall goes up anytime you try to talk about Trump in a bad way.this applies to conservatives as well, so long as they're in line with Trump.

Really, the only interesting thing I've noticed that separates then from conservatives in general is they acknowledge how terrible the man is but they just don't care. They don't even defend him on certain things, they just admit it's shitty and then it doesn't even factor in their appraisal of the man.

"Oh God he said that?? Anyways the man is fixing the country and he's one of the smartest most successful business owners in the nation"
