What are you working on at the moment?

I just broke down my studio earlier this week. Packed up all my mics, pres, effects racks, got the guitar cases out of the attic, stacked the drum kit, and wrapped up all my cables. The only thing not totally packed is my grand piano, one acoustic guitar, and my computer. We just had our offer accepted for our first house. I have the entire third floor attic space for my studio, rather than the dining room off the kitchen in our small apartment. We have been here for three years, and I have released some nice material from this acoustic space I've been in. It's going to be a massive "work in progess" for the next few months. I'm going to have to insulate, build some walls, encase the chimney, new windows. I have decided that renting a crane and blowing out a section of the wall is going to be too expensive, so the grand is staying on the first floor. I'm a little upset about that. It's tough because I have been slowly tinkering with about 20-30 different tracks for my next release, and have had all the time in the world to work on them. Now there is this massive undertaking, and I will not be able to really work on music for the next couple of months. Well, by the time the house is actually ours, and the necessary renovations for living (kitchen and bath) are completed, it will be time for my wife to have our second child. So it might be even longer before the music finds it's way to the top of my list.

Problem is, not that everything is out of reach, the muse has visited. I've got all these new ideas that I want to explore. Funny how that works. I will probably stick to scoring piano pieces in Finale for the next few months.
