What are your best coping mechanisms when you’re having anxiety/panic attacks?

Hey! Don’t worry I do the exact same thing on this subreddit haha!

Yeah of course; basically I’ve experienced for SUCH a long time, I’m 100% certain it is solely anxiety related as a result of us being hyper aware of our bodies.

I also hear my heart even when I’m not anxious sometimes, when it’s not beating too fast or too slow, lying in bed, working on my laptop etc. I’ve spoken to my boyfriend and also to family about it and they say they only ever notice it in themselves when they’re really trying to (I.e. specifically paying attention to just that). Which (to me) just confirms it’s connotations with anxiety even more.

Obviously I’m not a doctor (and if you’re having any serious symptoms alongside this I’d probably make an appointment) but I really do just put it down to stress and anxiety, it does really suck, but I think we’re okay with this one!
