What are your best tips for getting the most bang for your buck at the grocery store?

Stick to the edges of a traditional grocery store. This is where, produce, meat, cheese are. The middle is primarily expensive filler with maybe the exception of spices.

For spices, go into the specific culture aisles. Big bags of spices for less $ if you don’t have bulk spices.

Do a bit of meal prep before. Know how much of an ingredient something takes. Have a plan for the left over ingredients so that you don’t waste.

Be ready to nab a deal if you have the means to. Bone in skin on chicken thighs were marked down when I went in today for 1/4th of their listed price. If you’re paying attention you can totally jump on that.
