What are your crazy car stories?

Mine's one of those "I should've been pulled over stories."

I was following a friend on the interstate because I was helping him move across state, and this was before smartphones and I didn't have a gps so I didn't want to lose him. I started to get careless and let a lot of cars accumulated between my friend and I, but I could still barely make out his car about 1/4-1/2 a mile ahead of me.

The speed limit was 55 or 65 I believe, everyone was going 70-80 anyway, I said "f*** it" and just floored it. I heard my engine scream for the first time (I was very apposed to flooring it and wasn't really into cars at this time) and I just weaved my way though the cars that were between my friend and I and caught up with him. I glanced at my speedometer and the highest speed I remember seeing was between 115-120.

While I was catching up to my friend, I passed under a small bridge and wouldn't you know it a cop was stationed under it. In my rear view mirror I saw him pull out and his lights flick on. He started gaining, but I'm assuming he didn't want to bother to weave through all the cars I just had and slow them down just to catch me and (rightfully) ticket me, saw his lights turn off and he just pulled over. Phew, even my friend was like "wtf were you doing" when we arrived at our destination.

So, yeah, almost got pulled over for going up to 60 over the limit, and weaving through interstate traffic like this.
