What are your experiences with cops/undercover cops/narcs/law enforcement at raves?

Day 1 of this most recent Coachella and it was my day to candyflip. Dropped some L a little earlier in the day, then once the intensity came down a dose, I popped my first of two caps. I always write the amount of mg in each cap to keep em organized - know which one is first drop, second, etc.

Well my eyes were really fucky after several hours of tripping, and we were outside of the Sahara tent listening to a very obnoxious DJ Snake set and I start fooling around with a little baggie that had the next cap in it. I felt like I was being way too obvious and was attracting some stairs of older fellas nearby, so I told the crew lets shake real fast and I'll grab the necessary point and we'll keep moving along. I intended to run to the porta-potties and take my time to find the right one.. but my sister said she could still see alright and would get it for me really fast. Well she started to put her cellphone light on the baggie to find the cap I was talking about, and I look up and see a whole bunch of adults make eye contact. About 5-6 UC's swarmed and dropped their badges on us... the rest of the group was informed by the cops of what they had to do, and we were left to wait for her as they took her with them.

Thank goodness California law changed that year, or else she would've been arrested with a felony. They were just handing out misdemeanors like parking tickets because security was nonexistent...

We were all pretty saddened at that point, and because NERO was one of the artists she was most excited to see... we couldn't go without her. Ended up watching Tame Impala by some art instillations until we got a phone call from her.

TL;DR - Was tripping, had my sister fetch a specific cap of MDMA for me - she was too obvious and got cuffed and escorted out of the festival, but was allowed back in after an hour or so. She also hired a lawyer who seems to exclusively deal with festival mishaps like this, and it appears some clerical error occurred because she hasn't been charged with shit.
