I was looking for this answer. I just watched The Other F Word for the first time since it came out the other day and it's even better now that my kids are almost teenagers. My daughter (edit: both my kids) was raised on punk and just about every kind of music I could expose her to and she still chose radio pop and is what I would call a popular kid in school (which is great because it's her thing though) So I can really relate to Jim Lindberg with his 3 preppy daughters except that I'm the mom. I had my boyfriend (kids' dad) watch it for his first time and he loved it... Flea's fake seatbelt cracked him up. We thought for sure we'd have kids who skateboarded and listened to all kinds of music, but not even close. One kid has no interest music (I've stopped trying to show him different stuff in hopes he will figure it out eventually. Also in case I'm the reason he hates everything I show him. "Ew, MOM!") and the other I mentioned before. Very relatable.
