What are your goals when getting dressed?

I want to look at myself in the mirror and authentically enjoy what I see. It doesn't matter what aesthetic I go for, as long as I catch myself and think damn I look cute!

Idk if it is aimed at impressing anyone, maybe a bit (who doesn't want people to think they look good?) but honestly, my wardrobe is a lil wacky so I wouldn't expect most people to enjoy it so I'm mostly concerned about my own opinion.

I don't mind looking "trendy" but I prefer to avoid looking specifically like I'm following a trend. For example, I like those milkmaid tops, but I'd wear a vintage blouse version, not the fast fashion / aliexpress version.

Weather suitability is important, but often I will make accommodations. Eg. if its cold & I wana wear a cute skirt I will, just with a jumper. Sure, I'll be a bit cold, colder than I would be in pants and a puffer but tbh I'd rather be a lil cold than look frumpy. I guess I'm more concerned about fashion than functionality
