What are your nightshift horror stories?

It wasn't me, but I was the catalyst: I was working as a nurse on a unit who's clientele was predominantly old, weak, heavily ill people. Most of them on the brink of death (most of them are pretty sad stories). That said, it was pretty common that people died at that unit.

A friend of mine works at the pathology, meaning, that if people died, he had to come and pick the dead bodies up during night shift. It was a pretty calm shift and I knew that friend was working too... one thing lead to the other. My coworker played the dead body, we transferred him into the transportation device which was basically a dull aluminium coffin with four wheels.

Imagine this: You're tired,it is 3am, no one in that huge compley is awake (other than the few people working), everything's dark, and you have to pick up a dead body, you wonder off with it and in the elevator that dead body starts to knock inside that coffin.

That scream was heard throughout the whole hospital, while we all were laying on the floor bursting out laughing.
