What are your opinions on letting warlocks get an extra use of each of their patron expanded spell lists?

Formatting is very important.

So for some background I was playing a Great Old One warlock the other day in a 5th level one shot. It was a lot of fun but I did feel very limited.

Now I get that in combat a warlock is mainly for chucking around eldritch blast and that was fun when using the invocations to move your targets around.

The problem was out of combat I felt like even though the great old one is, in my head at least, about manipulating people, I just didn't have the spell slots to back it up. Especially if I did want to use one in combat.

So I want to know your opinion on this change: Each spell in the expanded spell list for the patron can be cast for free once per long rest like the mystic arcanum.

I think this would give the warlock more utility outside of combat and a few more potential options in combat as well as making the subclass identity more solidified.

I can see this potentially being a problem with hexblade but the other patrons I think it could be a lot of fun. Any feedback or glaring problems I have overlooked are welcome and if you've made other changes to warlock spell slots in your game I'd be interested to hear them.
