What are your predictions for 2023

Terrible Year Historically.

Fed Raising Rates will deeply impact consumer debt. With Interest rates approaching 5%, and further increases to come, consumers, companies, and even governments will struggle to pay back the debt the carry, let alone the interest payments. Defaults will be widespread. I think recent data of economic growth was merely a mirage, and that there would a continuation of GDP decline throughout 2023. The acceleration of layoffs this last quarter adds to my suspicions about serious GDP decline. Real Recovery, I feel, won’t really begin until Late 2024. By then, the Debt Bubble would have burst, and the economy would be able to grow once again like in 2008. I also think at around this time, the Fed would start to lower rates, as inflation would be under control at this point, helping to fuel the recovery. I hope I am wrong, and that the situation is not as terrible as I see it, but that remains to be seen.

The Index’s will probably continue to plummet next year. By how much, no one knows, but I think it will look really ugly. The NASDAQ will be absolutely murdered this year, as if it hasn’t already. It is understood that tech stocks and high interest rates are never a good combination. The DOW and S&P 500 will (probably) not do as dogshit as what I think the NASDAQ will be, but as it stands, I think losses will very significant. Total losses could approach 2008 levels, I feel. This won’t be a run of the mill recession at the end of ten day. Real Shit will go down
