What are your steadfast trading rules?

My first rule is that there are no steadfast trading rules. In my early days I was very successful by skimming 2-5% on the highs and lows, but as I got older and lazier I relaxed those rules. Now I keep an eye on the markets and buy and sell when it feels right. I don't beat myself up over losses, but I don't panic sell. I ask myself what a token is worth and decide whether it's a good buy or sell and go with that. I also spend a LOT less time in pump&dumps than I used to - there is plenty of quick profit to be made, but you're competing against lots of other people for the same meat. Now I pretty much stick to the 5 tokens that are meaningful to me and keep my eye open for the next token I might go all-in on. Right now my entire portfolio is Btc, Eth, Rep, Dash, and XMR. It's very difficult for me to let go of any of these tokens because I believe they'll all be successful in the long run. If something else came along that I believed in, I'd choose the token that I felt was most over-valued and sell 25% to buy into a new token.

If I wasn't clear - I don't take profits anymore. I get some revenue from dash masternodes, and I'm looking forward to staking eth as well as Reputation rewards, but I no longer trade for profit taking or cashing out.
