Nobody should be drinking a 6 pack a day to escape their problems, and we shouldn't be smoking Marijuana to do the same thing. Both are just an outside source to distract people from their problems, or just make themselves feel better for an unhelpful amount of time.

We can't just ban alcohol though. We know what went down last time that happened. But what occurred in between those ammendments? Crime and martial violence went down, and then spiked right back up after the legislation. I'm afraid of the exact same thing happening with Marijuana. "History repeats itself" is a true phrase.

There are thousands of things to account for, but in the end, alcohol and drugs are plain addictive substances that mess with the human body. I'd be open to the idea, but I'm not sure the public can fully handle that kind of responsibility.
