What are your thoughts on Nationalism?

Nationalism is not preferable. We are all united globally in our struggle for autonomy and liberation.

But... in the struggle for sovereignty against imperial aggressors constantly attempting to infect and dismantle democracy and socialism abroad, nationalism is an effective apparatus of sustaining internal support for communism. Those who reject nationalism prematurely on the grounds of "totalitarianism" don't understand imperialism, the struggle of virtually all communist regimes that came before them, and the long game of resisting foreign invasion. They're utopians who think international capitalists will play even remotely nice.

All communist states today exhibit nationalism. We should never forget why that is.
