You're not going to find any public school in the US that will go into details about the horrors we've inflicted
I personally remember learning about Jackson and the Trail of Tears in fifth or sixth grade. Perhaps your State needs improvements to it's curriculum?

It is an opinion that the Confederacy was wrong to fight for the right to own people as property? Is it an opinion you disagree with?
