What are your thoughts about women breastfeeding openly in restaurants?

I mean there's a difference between cleavage and breastfeeding. That being said, my point is only about considering whether or not other people might find it uncomfortable. You're right, if you're going out you should have some expectation of coming across certain people/situations, but I also think it's just about showing some other level fo respect. If you're at a restaurant, you don't necessarily need to bring your children first of all... if everyone else has to choose between you breastfeeding or your crying baby, I think it's an unfair burden. I'm just imaging a scenario with a conservative muslim family or something sitting nearby and yeah, I might not care, but they might find it uncomfortable (and also not say anything). Denying them that sort of respect isn't right either. To be clear, I don't think it's wrong at all to breastfeed in public, but also people who want to should at least maybe consider the people around them as well?
