Some people downvoted you for saying that and I'm not entirely sure why. I mean, let's just look at our list of fathers in the series:

(SPOILERS FOR ALL GAMES) Gregory Edgeworth (A great father, certainly) Manfred von Karma (Massive asshole, definitely worse than Dhurke) Russel Berry (From what the characters say, he was probably a good father, but you never actually meet him) Bruto Cadaverini (Not actually met, but apart from loving Viola, he's probably an asshole) Winfred Kitaki (Probably the only one on this list who can compete with Dhurke) Zak Gramarye (Literally the worst father ever) Drew Misham (Basically manipulated his daughter to doing illegal works) Ernest Amano (Crazy rich, creates spoiled brat and actively tries to conceal evidence that might indict his kid) Oliver Deacon (You don't actually meet him, but he did try to kill Lance) Byrne Faraday (This guy was cool, but you don't actually meet him) Blaise Debeste (Fuck no) Taifu Toneido (Once again, you don't actually meet him, and tbh he just seemed like a dick to me)

So yeah, regardless of whether you think Dhurke was a good father or not, he's basically second- or third-best just by default.
