What are your tips on losing weight?

Alternate betweem strength training and aerobics. Running is great.

Alternatively, and how I lost weight when I was a tub, you could devote just 5 minutes to running as fast as you can and then walking until you reach 30 minutes total on a treadmill. (No arms on the railing.)

Then try to increase the run portion or walk portion.

If you can't do 5 minutes of running at at least a slow jog, just walk an hour until you can. Every. Day. Brisk pace walking.

If you do that, you most likely will see results.

If you don't have a treadmill, walk outside. You don't need an expensive gym membership or access to a running trail.

Don't drink any drink but water and don't go back for seconds.

Shoot for 600-800 calories per meal depending on height, gender, and activity level. Be sure to eat enough protein. That work is going to be taxing on your muscles.

Don't give up.

If you're kind of hefty, shoot for getting your body accustomed to long-distance travel.

Once you see weight come off, maybe expand into more advanced workouts than just running and walking.
