What Ayaan Hirsi Ali and her misogynist brother say about each other

Her story doesn't make sense even if we take only what she is saying and disregard everybody else.

  1. She claims she was forcibly married at the age of 22!! Now, it is true that to Westerners 22 may sound a little too early, but in Kenya at that time (early 1990s) the age of first marriage was 18! So, getting married at the age of 22 is like getting married at the age of 35 in USA and UK. Not something that indicated a forced marriage. Quite the contrary!

  2. She claims her husband (who was living in Canada and had a good career) told her after their wedding that he wants her to bear him "6 sons"!!! Ask yourself: If you were a Muslim misogynist fundamentalist who seriously wanted "6 sons", would you choose an educated woman, 22-years-old, from a good family, living in relative luxury (by Kenyan standards), who is reputed to be independent-minded and difficult to get on with (such as Ayaan)? Or would you choose a 17-years-old uneducated poor village girl in whose eyes you will be a god who saved her from poverty?

  1. She claims her husband wanted her to come to Canada (and then give him "6 sons"). Why on earth would he want to bring her first to Canada and then make her bear him "6 sons"? Is he that stupid? THere were laws against DV and abuse in Canada already then.

And why would someone living in Canada and having a good career want to burden himself with that many children? And how many Muslims in Canada have "6 sons"? I live in Canada and I've never met a Muslim with that many children, certainly not an urban educated well-off Muslim. It's simply dumb having that many kids in Canada, and there is no way to force a woman to that end.

So, even what she herself is saying doesn't make any sense, has no congruency.
