What bands have you met and how were they to you?

I'm pretty good at being drunk and annoying bands. I had the Menzingers stay at mine after a show a few years ago, but my housemates were already pissed at me for bringing random people back to sleep all the time so I had to cram them all and their merch guy into my tiny room. They don't like me very much and we have this awkward thing whenever we're in the same place where none of us make eye contact or speak to each other.

I pissed off Jeff Rosenstock by confusing his wife with someone else that sold me a shirt once, that didn't go down particularly well.

I don't like Brendan Kelly at all, I didn't god-worship him and he got his revenge by trying to make me uncomfortable by pretending to be gay at me, which I dealt with pretty blank-faced, trying to overcharge me for drinks and generally being an asshole. To be fair he isn't exactly known for his kindness and good manner, so whatever.

I have a tendency to make a nuisance of myself towards bands by asking for guestlist all the damn time since I never buy tickets in time, done that with the tour manager for Pup and The Front Bottoms, but I think I'm still tight with the actual bands since I didn't bother them personally. I did bother Brendan from Modern Baseball a lot and Rod from Counterpunch but I think we're still friends since I shared my weed with them and let them stay at my house.

The guys in AJJ were super polite and appreciative when I shared a joint with them, they all said thanks a whole bunch of times but I was just stoked to chat with them.

The lead singer from Real Friends was like really over enthusiastic about me sharing some weed with him to the point where I found him overbearing. He was a nice guy, just a bit too much.

Oh and I embarrassed myself by getting fucked up on MDMA after a Smith Street Band show and causing chaos at my house when they just wanted to relax and have some beers. I don't think they minded that much since I'd already known them for a while.

The Flatliners bought pizza for everyone when they stayed over once, they're the nicest guys and I can't talk to Paul for more than 10 seconds without cracking up.
