What has been your weirdest encounter with a homeless person?

I was walking home from work, it was the middle of the day and I was in a fairly decent area so I wasn't expecting any kind of trouble. I saw this guy coming my way who seemed to be talking to himself and moving a little erratically. I paid him no mind, tried to keep to myself, but he must have been hallucinating because when he looked up and saw me, he pointed at me and started cursing at me. I remember him saying, "Don't you ever fucking mess with me again!" and coming at me like he was going to knock me out. I just kept walking and fortunately so did he.

Less weird, more sad. The guy clearly needed mental help but I don't think any of the people I've encountered who need said help ever actually get it.
