It definitely isnt common but it is also a real occurrence that does happen but not often. But I am aware of twice when we werent seeking it and a guy hit on my wife in front of me, many more times when I wasnt. One was when we were at a club and expected. Another seems to be happening current, its over time not one meet where the guy is clearly smitten with my wife and has been super nice to me. I met him first time last week while we bumped into him on the street and my wife has met him twice, now 3 but no shared experience and really not for long but he even did an awkward hugging her when we parted last time and was in front of me and awkwardly long especially since they dont know each other. Ironically he found an excuse to interact with her again next week that came after we ran into him. There is more to it but he seems to be trying.
