The people lashing out at the "weather complainers" sound like people that also don't really like the weather, but are in denial about not liking the weather.

If they really did like the weather, they wouldn't give a single fuck about the people that complain.

But, since they don't actually like the weather, seeing other's complain is a reminder to them that they are actually miserable inside about it.

For example, if instead of complaining about the weather, if someone told me my friend was an asshole:

• Agreement: "Yeah, he is kind of an asshole, but we're friends anyway"
• Disagreement: "I don't think he is an asshole, we're good friends"
• In Denial: "No, he's NOT an asshole! You're an asshole for calling him an asshole!"
