To preface what I'm about to say before someone thinks I'm hating: I'm a MOA, and I love the boys and this is obviously not on them. My biggest gripe with Hybe actually is the music production aspect. Something about the way they handle the vocal processing and autotune makes me irrationally (or would it be rationally?) mad. They keep coating TXT's vocals in this heavy (styllistic) autotune to the point that it makes certain members' voices unrecognisable at times. This isn't an issue in all songs of course, but it's noticeable. It's also not only a TXT issue; see BTS' Dynamite. The difference between Beomgyu on a studio version versus live is shocking. Here's one of many examples. He has such a distinct vocal colour, so why do they make him sound like Soobin and Taehyun? So, so frustrating. I don't know who keeps experimenting like this but I need them out of the studio, I want to actually HEAR my boys.
