My university cafeteria had a wonderful salad station, with 10 different types of freshly made cold dishes in bowls. Self serve. Seriously the cold bar was the best part of the cafetería, and our school was known for having excellent food. The weak point beside this salad bar was the Tim Hortons coffee station, where you helped yourself to a cup, a lid, and filled it with coffee. I opted instead to fill my coffee cup with food from the salad station. This often meant getting an X large sized coffee cup and filling it to the brim with cold lamb slathered in mayonnaise sauce, getting 15 dollars worth of food for just over 2 dollars. I would also fill the coffee cup with m&ms sometimes and have snacking chocolate for weeks. This plan relied on the cashiers taking my word for it when they asked what it was and I'd say coffee. Had they ever asked me to open the lid to show them they would have gotten quite the shock
