What books got you into science fiction and how old were you when you read them? Wanting to introduce my daughter to scifi.

My aunt gifted me a anti utopia collection when I was 17. They got me into scifi. There were 5:

Zamyatin’s “we”, one of the earliest anti utopian stories. It’s simple, but interesting.

Orwell’s 1984: my favorite book. It draws well a picture of controlled where anything anti governmental gets you in jail. I’m from post USSR, so it was interesting read on totalitarian society

Huxley’s “brave new world”: shows how people are drowned in meaningless entertainment, they don’t even have time to think critically.

“Mechanical piano” and “journey to stars” - I’m not sure about the titles, i read them in Russian, so I could be wrong.
