What brings you the most joy in your life?

It's natural to feel like that. In a lot of relationships one person becomes the 'provider'. You'd be amazed what you can eat though. It may not be great. We're going through a rough time, and ate rice for a couple of days straight with a touch of curry powder. That was it. You'd be amazed how many communities in the world SURVIVE on rice. I thought about that and was grateful for it. If you have food, you have energy, you have life. I could do without seeing rice for a while though. ; )

It's not the first time that my husband and I have been broke, and it probably won't be the last. We manage to choke it down and laugh about it though. You know what a person is when you've seen them in tough times. You're soldiers on a battlefield. You are your team. You eat what you get and you are grateful. You buoy each other up, and help each other strap on your armour, even if you're tired. Then you kick each other's asses back out onto the battlefield. No time for whining. Time to fix. You and me for the win. 16 years together this year, 10 married, all monogamous. Something must be working. The rice?? ; ) LOL. Be best friends and team mates. Soldiers in arms. You get that right - you'll eat anything. Believe me on that.
