What bugs you about most Zombie movie/TV shows?

What bugs me most about zombie stories is when they go too illogical. Yeah, I know...I want logic when the dead have risen and walking around?? Let me explain better.

Michael Crichton was one of my favorite authors growing up. He would write these fantastic stories, but only asked you to suspend your disbelief about one plot point; whether it be bringing back dinosaurs using their DNA, or apes guarding some ancient temple deep in the heart of Africa, or time traveling back to medieval France. His books were very much set in the world of the now, using existing technology, infra-structures, motives to tell his stories. He still grounded this bizarre idea in a very real world that you could relate to. Same with any old episodes of the Twilight Zone, another favorite.

I approach zombie movies/TV shows the same way. The dead are walking?? Oh, Ok. I can accept that. Now spin me a story about it. Wait. Now that guy is psychic all of a sudden? Or the dead aren't really the dead, but some quasi-dimensional "spirits" from another dimension? Or, this chick loses a leg, so you somehow magically graft a machine gun in place of it? Ok, you lost me. It's just too much, too absurd....at least for my tastes.
