What can I do to get you interested in my band?

I don't even know where to begin with this. Expecting downvotes, sorry if this is a bit harsh. You can't MAKE anyone care about anything, especially when it comes to music. I started a band in 2005 and we worked our asses off playing as many shows up and down the UK as was humanly possible. Touring, touring, touring. That's what all the bands I knew who were getting signed back then did. None of us gave a toss about journalists or festivals or labels or any of that shit other than simply getting on stage and giving our all. It sounds to me like you're just trying to skip ahead, do as little 'playing in a band' stuff as possible and you're being met with the exact response you deserve: meh.

Labels that don't care about music just want to know how many people will buy something or get an idea of how many people have seen you play/will be willing to pay to see you in the future. They obviously have zero interest in the quality of the music. Same with festivals. "If we put these guys on the shiter stage at noon, how many people will pay to see them durrr." Biggest drain on your wallet is doing one-off festival slots to nobody. You're just a marketing tool. It's self-respect more than anything. My band had labels chasing us because we turned into a really good live act with fun songs that had been practiced to within an inch of their lives and gained a bit of a cult following, we ended up touring the world and selling a few records too. Not giving a shit about these leeches pays off. It's the simplest thing in the world. Be a band. If you're so sure of yourselves and work as hard as possible doing the best thing a band can do (write songs and play them live), all the other stuff falls into place. It should be the only thing you care about right now. You go seeking approval in the wrong places and it never works out. There's too many bands. Are you absolutely convinced in the music you are writing? Like, absolutely convinced that people need to hear these songs live? Because there's a chance you might just not be any good.
