What can I learn from this

I think you've made a wise decision to lay off the psyches. They are powerfully introspective tools and highly adventurous experiences. But they also induce artificial states of mind which makes one think they're having glimpses of enlightenment when nothing could be further from the truth.

The true testament to spiritual growth and maturity is in the quality of life when you're sober. If one speaks heavenly words of wisdom and love when they're high and it all fades away after they come down..what's the point?

A lot of people get down on themselves because they're unable to maintain these divine states of mind because they assume enlightened beings can. But the good news is that not a single enlightened or liberated being exists in any such psychedelic states of mind. Because enlightenment is not a state of mind and, as you see, no state of mind is permenent.

This is also good news for people who don't want to mess with psychedelics all together because a sober mind is absolutely essential for enlightenment or liberation to take place.
