What car was so good that it spoiled all other cars for you?

I can see going turbo-V6 or V8 someday, but the Subaru community is what I'll miss most. I know /r/cars hates "subaru fanboys" but outside internet forums where they can be annoying, it's awesome to have people just pumped about their cars who are willing to help you out with their time, labor, or advice.

You go to a Subaru meet, and there are people with mobile weather stations in their new Outback parked next to 20 year old track monsters.

Even my local group is kind of a hub of dealerships and tuners. All three parties work together to get warranty coverage, find the best price for parts, share advice on tuning/maintenance etc...

I've been in other enthusiast groups around brands or models, but Subaru is on a completely different level. And it's not just my impression...to compete with the money and resources of the giant Honda/Toyota corps, Subaru actively cultivated niche markets (LGBT, Bird watchers, Rallysports, etc...) in the 80s/90s and today have stuff like the Ambassador program and badges of ownership to continue those trends.
