One could only hope but that doesn't make money so it would hard to implement. Money is the only concern of councils and property developers. It's hard enough to get landlords to even do basic repairs at times without resorting to the RTA. It's like a decline in the construction industry at the moment, the government could be helping out with social housing whilst helping the people that find housing unaffordable and a dwindling construction industry. Kill two birds with one stone. But that sounds too much like socialism for our capitalist pig government. PS, I not a communist but I do like the partial socialism blended with partial capitalism.
