What do you have a collection of ?

my wife and I are perpetual collectors, we have been for 25 yrs.

we aren't at the auctions/estate sales/flea markets as often as we used to be (kids/life/etc), but we both enjoy dinking around and looking for interesting things. As weird as it may seem, the act of collecting definitely makes our relationship stronger, as it is something that we both love to do together.
We are purpose driven, we don't just buy and hoard everything. We typically buy things that we can use in the house.

We stay very far away from traditional collectibles and old lady glass.
somethings we collect for aesthetic value, some things we collect for monetary value.
We are not typically buying to resell, but sometimes we do because the price is right.

what she collects or has collected in the past:
1880-1940s ladies hats 30s-50s printed tablecloths/tea towels and kitchen items. vintage greenhouse and gardening items
vintage pottery/tile (roseville/mccoy/teco/etc)
damaged dolls and parts (halloween)
pre-70s halloween items.
pre-70s christmas items.
art nouveau statuary (frankart/spelter/etc) functional antique furniture and architectural salvage.

what I collect: pre-1974 vintage Italian motorcycles
Italian motorcycle ephemera (signs/ magazines/etc)
jack kirby comics (FF1-107/kamandi/new gods/etc) this collection is almost done.
vintage halloween costumes and masks (30s-1970s)
unusual electrical kitchen appliances (not blenders. wienie chef/jiffy dog/etc)
typical vintage garage items. 60s japanese toys. robots/space toys/etc.
