Not sure about the consensus, but as much as it could be considered a benefit, it very well could be considered a detriment.

If Tommy and Christie were open about knowing each other on the first day, they would have been immediate targets. Having made the decision to keep it under wraps, it’s up to them to keep that secret SECRET for as long as they are in the house. That’s a pretty heavy burden.

I think that they’re indeed super fans and made the right decision. We’ve seen HGs distance themselves even from the possibility of knowing each other in order to avoid suspicion- having an outside relationship is a perceived advantage. HG’s even lie about their professions in order to keep a low profile and seem like less of a threat.

I’m now curious to see if Tommy pulls some Frankie type of move and reveals his connection with Christie. I’m also curious to see if Christie can keep it a secret in the jury house.
