Israel is a racist state

accepting this is true, arguendo, i think you are sort of proving my point.

israel is far from the only racist state on this planet. my argument concerns the undue attention israel specifically receives from the global left. you may be aware that fully one half of all resolutions ever passed by the united nations human rights commission in its entire history specifically concern israel. One. Half.

i just wonder what is driving this bizzarely disproportionate attention. if not anti-semitism, then what?

China has 1 million uighurs imprisoned in actual concentration camps. Russia has brutalised georgia and chechna and east ukraine. turkey maintains to this day a quasi-genocide against its kurdish population.

But we don't hear about that. There is a little nation on the far edge of the Mediterranean. It has a population of eight million. And it is full of jews. And by pure coincidence, that is the nation selected to be the object of global scorn.

Can you explain what is driving this disproportionate treatment? I hope you don't think this is 'whataboutism'. I do think there are very problematic elements in Israel like the settlements and the new ammendments to the Basic Law.
