What country do you think has the nicest people?

I'm an immigrant in Germany from the US so I may have some experience I could share.

On the internet, Germans aren't very nice to Americans.

In person, you guys have been very helpful, nice, and gracious to me. Some people have problems learning German because everyone wants to speak English as soon as they hear their accent. Maybe it's where I live here in Nordrhein-Westfalen, but this hasn't been my experience. They'll continue speaking German with me until I have a problem and only then will they speak English to me. My neighbors talk to me every time they see me. There's even a 75 year old lady who lives downstairs who's been learning English phrases just to try when she sees me. Not a single person here has yet to talk down to me just because of where I'm from. Hell, the first friend I made here realized that I needed help with something and just randomly started talking with me. So, I don't buy it that Germans are reserved and keep to themselves :-)
