As a teenager my friends and I used to go geocaching in the desert and explore abandoned/burned down houses along the way.

We came across this abandoned house in the middle of nowhere in the desert, no other buildings for miles. It looked like the owners just straight up left in a hurry bc all personal belongings were still there, just scattered EVERYWHERE, the whole place turned upside down. The floor covered in personal belongings like photos, CD's, books etc. and made it hard to walk, had to climb over/through piles of stuff. food still in the kitchen but old/opened. A lot of the photos had faces scratched out. As we walked through the house we saw red paint looking as if it was dripping from the ceiling. Not so much creepy as it was odd, idk why/how it would be coming from the ceiling. Also a bunch of painted red arrows pointing towards the windows

Anyway the worst part was that all the furniture was torn up/fallen over etc except for a lone armchair perfectly in the middle of the living room, and there was a stuffed animal sitting on it. None of us had gone near it esp since it was already so difficult to step over all the shit on the ground, but it started to sing a children's song, you know like those toys that sing when you squeeze it or pull a string or something. We ran out of there with a quickness and drove off to the next place.
