I was really awkward back when I was 14 years old or so. I couldn’t hang out with my first girlfriend without my male friend being there too because I felt that I was funnier and more charming when I hanged out with him around. As if this constant third wheeling wasn’t bad enough: One time we were at the amusement park with my ’girlfriend’, just the two of us. We went into this place full of glass walls, a maze of sorts where you had to navigate through really tight corridors. She decided to walk straight ahead and banged her head against the glass real hard. My cringy ass brains just said ’nope, too awkward’ and I ran out of there. Without her. That relationship didn’t last long, wonder why.
